Joule 1.0 and GPS

  • Improved the UI around the Time Zone and Daylight Saving settings for the Joule GPS.
  • You can no longer rotate metrics on the Joule GPS Workout and Map screens—this is not supported with the current

Joule firmware.

  • Fixed problem with the ride time from a Joule GPS when you changed the Daylight Saving Time setting mid-ride.
  • Fixed issue where the Wireless tab for a Joule GPS didn't show I400 information.

Downloading Rides

  • Fixed issue that occurred when trying to load an activity that had a sample rate of 5.04 seconds.

Import/Export

  • Fixed issue with some TCX files where the beginning of the file was clipped if the start times in the file didn't agree.

Web Upload

  • Added a checkbox so you can disable individual web services.

Highlights

Here are the big changes in PowerAgent 7.6.

  • You can now filter activities by the day of the week.
  • You can now specify the first date for computing the Peak Powers, so that you can have Peak Powers for a single season.
  • Added a fix for a driver conflict in Mac OS X Mavericks.
  • Added a line for the best peak power for the previous four weeks to the Peak Power graph.
  • Added horizontal scrolling in the workout graph.
  • You can now upload rides to RideWithGPS.
  • Activities created in the mobile or tablet app are now automatically downloaded from CycleOps Virtual Training when you launch PowerAgent.
  • When viewing an activity, the online tab now has a hyperlink to view the activity online.
  • For Joule GPS routes, you can now specify the route type (road or off-road). This affects the precision of data stored for the route.

General

  • Added a fix for a driver conflict in Mac OS X Mavericks.
  • You can now specify the first date for computing the Peak Powers, so that you can have Peak Powers for a single season.
  • Fixed issue where you couldn't communicate with a Cervo or grey console.
  • Fixed issue where older grey consoles were not identified properly.
  • Fixed issue where the time moving was less than 10 minutes, regardless of the ride time. This caused the work to be way too low. You will need to open each ride to force the time moving and work to be recomputed.
  • The map icon is now correctly shown when saving an activity with map data.
  • Fixed some issues related to upgrading from old database versions.
  • Column widths in the activity list are now remembered the next time you launch PowerAgent.

Athlete Info

  • Fixed issue where the height set for a new user was always 79 inches (173 cm).

Device Configuration

  • PowerAgent now deletes history files more than one year old when you clear device data from a Joule 2.0 or 3.0.
  • Set the default circumference for a CycleOps Indoor Hub.
  • PowerAgent no longer warns you if you're trying to update firmware on a PowerTap Gen3 hub with a dead or removed battery.
  • Fixed user profile sync issues with the Joule 2.0 and 3.0.
  • Fixed issue where the user zones and FTP were not changed on the Joule 2.0/3.0 if you clicked PowerAgent in the user settings conflict dialog.
  • Fixed issue where you could not configure a Joule 3.0 thumb drive after initially configuring it.
  • Fixed error that occurred when configuring a Joule 2.0 or 3.0 (or thumb drive) if the device settings didn't match the user settings.
  • Fixed issue where you couldn't update the firmware for a PowerTap G3 hub.

Joule 1.0 and GPS

  • Added compatibility with Joule GPS firmware v19.081.
  • Added a dropdown to the Joule GPS config dialog to set Interval/Lap mode.
  • Added configuration for the Joule GPS workout screen for version 19.084.
  • Corrected the labels and display when editing the Ride Partner dashboard item on a Joule GPS.
  • Corrected the default values for Prompt recording and Interval mode to off for the Joule GPS.
  • Fixed issue where the settings for a sensor in the Joule GPS were lost if you made changes to the sensor and then clicked Power, Speed, etc.
  • Fixed an error that occurred when opening a ride that was downloaded from a Joule (1.0).
  • Fixed issue where the device type wasn't saved when you imported a .dat file from a Joule 1.0 or GPS.
  • The Joule (1.0) default wheel circumference is now 2096
  • Fixed issue where the power and cadence average checkboxes for the Joule GPS were the opposite of what is shown on the Joule.
  • Fixed issues where the waypoints stored on a Joule GPS weren't checked in the config dialog.
  • Fixed issue where new routes from a Joule GPS were shown at the bottom of the route tab.
  • Fixed issue where you would end up with two partial routes in PowerAgent if you renamed a route on the Joule GPS.
  • Corrected the text on the warning message when you delete a waypoint from the Joule GPS config dialog.

Downloading Rides

  • Fixed error that occurred when you tried to download data from a Club Console.
  • Fixed issue where the first activity downloaded for a new user didn't always show in the list.

Import/Export

  • Added a progress bar when exporting activities.
  • When you export multiple files, you are no longer prompted for individual file names. You pick the destination folder and default file names are used.
  • Fixed error that occurred when importing a TCX file with invalid power values.
  • Any errors encountered when importing a TCX file can be viewed by opening the activity.
  • Fixed errors that occurred when importing a PWX file that was created by the Wahoo iPhone app.
  • Fixed null pointer exception that occurred when importing some TrainingPeaks files.
  • Fixed error that occurred when exporting to a TCX file.
  • Improved handling of device name/version when exporting/importing TCX files.
  • Fixed error that occurred if you imported an Extended CSV file with a comma in the tag.

Routes/Waypoints

  • For Joule GPS routes, you can now specify the route type (road or off-road). This affects the precision of data stored for the route.
  • Fixed issue while following a route where the pacer could jump ahead if you had stopped on the original ride.
  • You can now edit the point type in the route editor.
  • The route editor now shows an icon for defined point types.

Web Upload

  • You can now upload rides to RideWithGPS.
  • Activities created in the mobile or tablet app are now automatically downloaded from CycleOps Virtual Training when you launch PowerAgent.
  • Removed the ability to upload to Training Camp.
  • Improved error handling during online authentication.
  • Fixed error that occurred when tweeting an activity.
  • Added a workaround to the MapMyRide upload so that you see the map for the entire ride. NOTE: this means that laps are not uploaded.
